I've tried googling, using search tools in DA & FA forums, finding information on the website itself and sending email to its last known administrator (that I know of at least, Ch'marr) but to no avail... I can't seem to find any information on what happened to VCL after 2005 or who's maintaining it these days. So I'm wondering if anyone here has any clue? I have an old gallery there that I'd like removed but I don't remember my login credentials and the email address of mine marked for password retrieval hasn't been functional for years. Somebody has to be maintaining the site since it's still up and running (well, a part of it anyway)... If you know anything, please help!

The problem is finally solved! It took some detective work and digging through piles of ten-year-old email, but I managed to figure out my VCL login info (and now that I remember it I'm all " Why didn't I think of that before!"). I'm still unable to close my account there because I can't reach the admins, but whatever, at least I was able to remove everything in my gallery. No more embarrassing teenage scribbles showing up in top search results when googling my real name! A big thank-you to you guys who helped me with this matter

I'm unhappy to bring up such an unpleasant topic, but due to recent discoveries it seems there's a need for this:

Please be aware that my personal works (not including commissions/gifts which are always for the client's exclusive use) can usually be used for non-commercial purposes upon request, unless stated otherwise in the deviation description. However, my personal works can never be used for commercial purposes in any way. If my deviation descriptions say that virtual currencies are fine, then those are alright. But never for real money, that is something I simply do not approve of. I don't enjoy having to contact legal departments of various websites, but that is what I will do without any hesitation when my drawings are being used against my wishes.

Please keep in mind, that when someone lets you use their art, it is a priviledge - not a right. Treat it as such!

It was very heartwarming for this old fart to log in on DA today and see all the birthday wishes you guys had sent me. Thank you, and everyone have a great summer!
